Executive Director, Founder, and President of Greater Things Now, Inc.
Julie is passionate about inspiring women to boldly step into their faith and embrace the unique purpose God has for their lives. As the founder of Greater Things Now, she is dedicated to creating opportunities for women to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and discover the greater things God has in store for them. Julie is a speaker and author of Courageous Joy: Boldly Step In, Step Up & Step Out in Your Faith. She has been married to her husband, Guy, for more than 40 years, and together they enjoy spending time with their four adult children and seven grandchildren.
June Streveler
Treasurer
June is deeply committed to her faith and to the mission of Greater Things Now. Throughout her life, she has been passionate about encouraging and supporting others as they discover and fulfill their God-given potential. Since the organization’s founding, June has faithfully served as a board member, finding great joy in helping Greater Things Now lead women toward Jesus while fostering faith, hope, meaningful connection, and spiritual growth. June and her husband, Tony, have been married for 43 years. Together, they have two children and one cherished grandchild.
Sue Godfrey
Secretary
Sue is passionate about helping others grow in their faith while sharing her time, talents, and leadership skills to support the mission of Greater Things Now. She believes in the power of faith-filled communities and enjoys encouraging women as they deepen their relationship with God. Sue has been married to her husband, Andrew, for more than 32 years and is the proud mother of two adult sons. She enjoys domestic traveling, gardening, and hiking.
Kathie Newman
Director
Kathie is passionate about serving others and bringing people together in ways that strengthen individuals, families, and communities. Through Greater Things Now, she enjoys helping create opportunities for women to find support, encouragement, and connection in their faith journeys. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, attending musical events, reading, and playing piano and ukulele. She has a daughter, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Michelle Garrison
Director
Michelle is passionate about encouraging women in their faith and creating welcoming environments where they feel seen and supported. She enjoys serving alongside others in ministry and believes deeply in the power of prayer, community, and restoration. Outside of work and volunteering, Michelle enjoys staying active, especially outdoors, and spending meaningful time with friends and family.
